We are looking for a number of Paralegals to join our market‑leading CSG team that works with over 40 insurance companies and self‑insured corporates.
We are holding an Assessment Centre on Tuesday 2nd December, which successful candidates will be invited to attend for the afternoon.
You will be required to attend the Newport office 5 days a week during your probation. You will be able to discuss a hybrid arrangement with your manager once you have passed probation.
Team Overview
Our Vehicle Hire and Damage team deals with all aspects of defendant credit hire dispute resolution, providing an end‑to‑end solution. We also provide pre‑emptive advice on these issues whilst assisting clients to formulate their own strategies.
Our claims vary from small track to multi‑track including fraudulent claims. We deal with liability, indemnity and associated losses including personal injury, credit repair and diminution.

Responsibilities
* Be responsible for a varied caseload of pre‑litigated or litigated work.
* Screen matters for prospects and liaise with clients upon receipt of instructions.
* Review instructions and provide client advice on case prospects.
* Resolve claims through negotiation and litigation within client service standards.
* Instruct experts and counsel, draft Witness Statements and other Court documents.
* Maintain contact with our clients and their customers whilst proactively managing their expectations.
* Meet individual performance measures (financial performance, realisation rates and other KPIs).
* Ensure that the DAC Beachcroft brand and standards are maintained.

We are happy to hear from graduates and those with customer service/retail experience who are team players and have the passion for learning. We’d also like to hear from Paralegals who may already have experience working in a legal environment.
