The business supplies high-quality, precision components to designers, architects and developers, with a strong reputation for craftsmanship and attention to detail. With a strong people-first culture and long-term growth plans, this role would suit someone who values quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.The Role This is a hands-on CNC turning position focused on programming, setting and optimising machines to produce high-end, precision components to exacting standards.Key Responsibilities
o Program and set CNC turning machines (Mazak, XYZ and Citizen)
o Interpret detailed engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications
o Work closely with design and production teams to optimise manufacturability
o Ensure all components meet strict quality and finish standards
o Contribute to continuous improvement of machining processes
Essential Requirements
o Minimum 10 years’ experience programming and setting CNC turning machines
o Strong knowledge of metals and machining processes (particularly brass)
o High attention to detail and strong problem-solving capability
o Ability to work collaboratively within a production environment
o Strong work ethic and accountability for quality output
Desirable (Not Essential)
o Experience using Fusion 360 or other CAM software
o Formal engineering or machining qualifications
