Estates Surveyor Location: London, Hybrid Rate: £500 - £560 Per Day Working Pattern: Interim Ongoing Spencer Clarke Group are supporting a London local authority with an urgent requirement for an Interim Estates Surveyor to support day-to-day estate management across a varied property portfolio. This is a hands-on estates management role covering landlord and tenant matters, lettings, rent and debt matters, and general case management. You will work closely with internal colleagues across property, FM, building surveying, finance and legal to ensure assets are managed effectively and in line with best practice. Responsibilities include: Day-to-day estates management across a mixed portfolio (commercial, operational, land and development sites) Tenancy management and support with new lettings Rent collection support, debt management input and general case tracking Negotiating and progressing lease events (assignments, subletting, change of use, alterations) Supporting the marketing and letting of vacant premises, including particulars and tenant selection support Advising on rating matters and wider landlord and tenant considerations Supporting dilapidations discussions and tenant vacation matters Liaising with FM and surveying colleagues to coordinate repairs and planned works Maintaining accurate property records and supporting asset management system updates Contributing to service improvement and a strong customer-focused culture About you: Degree level (or equivalent) qualification in Estates Management or a related property discipline Strong working knowledge of landlord and tenant law and practical estates case management Experience in a busy estates management function (local authority experience highly desirable) Confident communicator, able to negotiate and manage stakeholders professionally Full UK driving licence and ability to undertake site inspections How to Apply Send your CV or get in touch with Joe O'Halloran at Spencer Clarke Group on 01772 954200 or
