Experience in the commodities of wheat or flour distinctly advantageous. My client is on a rapid growth trajectory with circa 500 employees and growing. You will be joining at an exciting time of growth within the established procurement team. Duties and Responsibilities * Developing and implementing appropriate category strategies for the relevant commodities * Ongoing commodity risk management (CRM) and mitigation planning * Contributing to the budget process and ownership of Purchase Price Variance (PPV) as relevant to the category * Delivery of cost savings and cost avoidance programmes * Supplier relationship management, performance management and relevant KPI’s * Execution of tenders and negotiation of supplier contracts * Development of appropriate category strategies to maximise commercial benefit and security of supply * Management of CRM within the category, monitoring PPV, global market trends, commodity prices and industry developments to identify opportunities and manage risk Skills and E...
