Role Overview
This is a Trust Doctor post. No previous experience in respiratory medicine or oncology is required, but NTN or CCT holders in respiratory medicine are also welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities
* Assess patients in suspected lung cancer clinics.
* Participate in the lung multi‑disciplinary team meeting.
* Supervise the delivery of virtual clinics for lung cancer referrals and nodule patients and interface with the lung health check programme.
* Develop diagnostic skills in bronchoscopy, Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS), pleural aspiration, intrapleural catheter insertion and neck ultrasound.
* Attend oncology clinics and participate actively in lung MDT.
* Opportunity to undertake locum shifts in acute medicine if desired.
Qualifications & Experience
* NTN or CCT holders in respiratory medicine are welcome to apply.
* Professional registration and qualification checks are required by NHS.
