The opportunity
Due to significant growth and interest in our business, a new role has been created within the UK Communications team. Arla Foods is recruiting a Head of Media Relations in the UK who will build strong media relationships with key UK news channels and industry media to develop, promote, and protect our reputation and brand recognition among both our corporate and consumer stakeholders.
Responsibilities of the Head of Media Relations:
* Drive Arla’s reputation and build awareness through excellent media relations and strategic communication
* Manage all contact between Arla UK and media outlets
* Coordinate with the PR Manager on media campaigns and press activities
* Advise on the reputational impact of business activities and decisions
* Develop and implement external communication strategies to ensure clarity and consistency across all media channels
* Achieve tangible results based on KPIs like top stories, mentions, press cuttings, and reputation scores
* Collaborate with Arla’s press officers in other markets and support the overall media agenda
Qualifications for the role:
