An established organisation operating within a secure, maintenance-led environment is seeking a qualified Electrician (Level 3) to join their on-site facilities team. This is a stable, long-term opportunity within a structured and safety-focused setting.
Your New Role
You will be responsible for delivering both planned and reactive electrical maintenance across a large and varied estate. This is a hands-on position where you will ensure all electrical systems are operating safely and efficiently, in line with statutory regulations and best practice.
Key duties include:
Carrying out maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on electrical systems
Completing installations, testing, and commissioning
Responding to service requests via CAFM systems
Conducting inspections and quality checks, including work at height and in confined spaces
Ensuring all work is properly recorded and logged
Supporting the safe operation of the site, including supervising others on tasks where required
Working alongside contractors and ensuring adherence to site procedures
Maintaining compliance with health & safety and security standards
What You'll Need to Succeed
Essential:
NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Services (or equivalent)
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
Strong understanding of electrical maintenance and installations
Desirable:
Experience in commercial or industrial environments
Knowledge of planned preventive maintenance (PPM)
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar electrical role
Legionella awareness (L8) - training can be provided
