We are seeking passionate and dedicated subject specialists who are committed to making a difference in the lives of young people. You will:
* Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching Science at secondary level
* Demonstrate a strong understanding of the needs of pupils with SEMH and/or Autism Spectrum Conditions
* Be an innovative and adaptable educator, able to engage and inspire students in their learning

Some of the main responsibilities of the role will include:
* Establishing a purposeful and safe learning environment and supporting learners’ behaviour constructively
* Contributing to the monitoring and development of the required subject/s area to ensure suitable opportunities
* Planning effectively in the short, medium and long-term
* Assessing, recording and reporting on the development and progress of learners
As a purpose-built, state-of-the-art special free school that opened in September 2023, we are dedicated to providing exceptional education for pupils aged 11-16 with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Located on Princess Louise Road in Blyth, Northumberland, our academy serves as a beacon of hope and opportunity for our pupils and their families. Since opening in September 2023, we focus on holistic development, ensuring pupils are equipped with the knowledge, skills, confidence, and resilience to thrive in all aspects of life.
