Job Title: Customer Operations Advisor
Location: Malton
Working Hours: Monday- Friday, 8:30am - 5pm, 40 hours/week
Our client is a technology driven and specialist industrial services provider offering a range of engineering solutions and technical services to a wide variety of industries. Their Malton site is recruiting for the position of a Customer Operations Advisor.
Main duties & responsibilities:
Use order book to expedite orders and speak to suppliers on a daily basis to ensure orders are on schedule
Placing orders within necessary timeframes, ensuring best lead time, price and delivery times
Assist stores colleagues with booking in goods/deliveries, correctly allocating stock into the storeroom
Providing excellent customer service and assistance to the engineers on-site who attend the office
Completing necessary steps to enable any non-stocked parts to be sourced, assessing price, lead time and delivery speed and uploaded to the stock systems
Ordering stock required from suppliers
Complete manual handling of stock from deliveries to storeroom including heavier items such as motors, pumps, gas bottles
Essential skills / experience / qualifications:
Competent in basic IT Skills - monitoring emails, data entry, using the stock ordering systems
Must be comfortable in a fast-paced and high-pressured environment
Must have excellent communication skills and comfortable in a customer-facing role
Experience in storerooms /stores activities desirable but not essential, preferred for familiarity with the working environment
Be able to meet the physical demands of the manual handling required in the role
