Our well established client is currently seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their friendly team on a permanent basis. The Accounts Assistant will be required to provide essential support to the Finance Manager in the day-to-day operations of the finance department. Key Responsibilities: * Assist the Finance Manager with daily tasks, financial processes, and general administrative duties as required. * Accurately process purchase invoices. * Monitor and track outstanding customer payments. * Perform daily bank reconciliations. * Generate sales invoices using Sage 50 software. * Assist in the preparation of documentation, journal entries, and reports required for annual audits and financial compliance. Key Skills and Experience: * Previous accounts/finance experience * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Experience with Sage 50 or similar accounting software preferred Company Benefits: * Death in Service cover of 3 x salary. * Free on-site parking. * B&CE People’s Pension. * 24 days annual holiday plus bank holidays.
