Your Responsibilities
Testing PCBs and complete assemblies to specifications.
Fault finding to component level.
Ensuring instructions and documents are kept up to date and that test results are maintained as required.
Ensuring that product is handled and tested in accordance with company policies, including appropriate storage and anti-static precautions.
Ensuring product is worked on according to work schedules provided and on time according to defined deadlines.
Ensuring that product is recorded correctly on and through the company ERP system (Epicor).
Providing yield statistics to the Process Engineering department and offering technical recommendations where appropriate.
Implementing new processes and generating instructions and documents in accordance with job requirements, when necessary.
Training other employees on techniques and specific methods to ensure a broad level of skill within the department.
Making recommendations to the Production Supervisor of any training deficiencies.
Communicating any testing issues to the Production Supervisor.Travel
Limited but as required to fulfil business demands.Your background
BTEC ONC/HNC or City & Guilds in electronics.
Computer literate.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
Proven experience in electronic production & assembly.
Able to identify electrical component types.
