Location: Manchester, hybrid - 1 day in the office a week
Contract: 12-month fixed-term (Maternity Cover)
We are looking for an experienced Telephony Engineer to join our team on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on experience in Cisco Call Manager, Contact Centre solutions, and IPT systems within an enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Support and manage Cisco telephony and contact centre platforms.
* Act as technical lead on projects and service improvements.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
* Deliver clear communication to stakeholders during changes or go-lives.
* Cisco Call Manager, Contact Centre & Unity expertise.
* Endpoint device management (desk phones, Jabber, Webex).
* Experience with VMware, Putty, and monitoring tools.
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement.
* Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management tools (e.g., Freshservice).
* Experience with BTS (e.g., Atereo) platform.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Proven hands-on experience with Cisco Call Manager, Contact Centre solutions, and IPT systems in an enterprise environment.
* Ability to lead technical projects and engage with stakeholders effectively.
* Experience with endpoint devices (desk phones, Jabber, Webex) and related management tools.
* Knowledge of ITIL processes and service management tooling.
