Overview
Room Attendant, Malmaison Rate of Pay / Hours Type of Contract Location Working as part of the Housekeeping team you will ensure all guest bedrooms within the hotel are cleaned on a daily basis to the highest of standards. You will have an eye for detail and naturally high standards to meet our guests expectations of a perfect night's stay. Malmaison provide a range of luxury and boutique hotels in 15 landmark locations around the United Kingdom. Synonymous with style and hospitality, Malmaison offers exquisite accommodation with a relaxing atmosphere throughout our chain of hotels along with sumptuous food and wine in our trademark Chez Mal Brasseries. Working as a Room Attendant you will be interacting with our Guests so conversational English is essential, as is the ability to work on your own for periods of time. You will be a vital cog in the Malmaison machine ensuring all bedrooms are clean and tidy for our guests arrival and continued stays.

Responsibilities
• Ensure all guest bedrooms are cleaned daily to the highest standards. • Interact with guests in a professional manner; conversational English is essential. • Work independently for periods of time and be a reliable part of the housekeeping team. • Follow training provided for the use of chemicals and equipment. • Maintain fitness level to perform the duties of a Room Attendant. • Support flexible shifts, usually between 9am – 3pm, 5 days out of 7, with start times between 9am – 10am. Early start times and flexible contracts or weekend work can be discussed at interview.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Prior experience in a similar role is not required. • Positive attitude and desire to make a difference within the hotel are essential. • Ability to work on your own and maintain high standards. • Strong eye for detail and commitment to guest satisfaction.

• Full training in the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment will be provided. • Malmaison actively encourages internal development and progression; target to have 100 new apprentices in the business by year end. Candidates may enroll on our apprenticeship scheme after probation.
