The East of England Ambulance Trust has vacancies for the position of Clinical Practice Coordinator to join us in an emergent role within the Education Department. This is an exciting time to join the Trust, as we are now moving towards a holistic education and development methodology for our existing staff and future workforce. The role will provide comprehensive and effective management, integration, co-ordination and administration support for the education, training and development of a number of programmes within a sector / ICS. Please note, this role is 0.6wte and covering 2 sectors / ICS) on a 4-month fixed-term / secondment position. There are elements of remote home-working with regional coverage across the East of England / East Anglia.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an experienced, ambitious and proactive coordination and administration specialist who is passionate about improving our service and processes – both capability and quality. This role is essential for the development of our future clinical and Paramedic workforce. The successful post holder will be aligned to an operational sector / ICS and coordinate the requirements of the Trust clinical practice placement and education teams. They will be proficient at deciphering raw data and intelligence received from various sources and presenting summary updates at various forums (both Directorate and local sector teams) for escalating and addressing issues.
Working for our organisation
They will be the key liaison with learners / students, university partners, core education and training team, and operational teams across the region. This will require the ability to work proactively and independently as well as part of an integrated system. The role also provides comprehensive support in relation to higher education, clinical practice, clinical development and professional pathways. In collaboration with our team of Clinical Practice Specialists, this includes the provision of appropriate mentorship, supervision, and support for all operational staff and both internal and external students. Furthermore, acting as an advocate for quality assurance mechanisms for both practice educators and learners.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
1. Diploma, foundation degree or NVQ level 4 in Business Management or Business Administration (or equivalent). If English is not your first language an IELTS 7.0 overall with 6.5 in each band, or equivalent when you start the course.
Skills and Knowledge

2. Knowledge of the role of workers within the ambulance service settings.
3. Good communication skills and fluent in English Language, with the ability to communicate appropriately and effectively face to face, over the phone and in writing
4. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to people, including internal staff and external stakeholders.
5. To have an awareness of equality and diversity, a commitment to equality for all and not discriminate against anyone because of your personal views.
6. Be able to demonstrate an understanding for the need for confidentiality and how this can be maintained.
