Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team at our automotive repair shop in Paignton. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive repair and maintenance, with the ability to diagnose and repair vehicles efficiently.
Duties
* Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
* Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on a variety of vehicles
* Perform vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs
* Use diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot vehicle systems
* Ensure all work is completed accurately and in a timely manner
Experience
Required Skills:
- Proven experience as a Mechanic or similar role
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Formal training or certification in automotive mechanics
The ideal candidate will have the ability to work on all makes and models of cars.
