Management Accountant Role at a Software Organisation
A hybrid opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join a well-established software organisation based in Maidenhead.
This is a key role within the finance team and will assist in all month-end reporting tasks.
They offer hybrid working whilst being in a friendly and supportive team.
Responsibilities:
1. Production of full management accounts
2. Take ownership of month-end closing including balance sheet reconciliations for all areas, including calculating, posting, and reconciling accrued and deferred revenue
3. Be aware of intercompany transactions and the impact on the financial statements; reconcile between intercompany accounts
4. Handle revenue accounting such as accruals
5. Supervise two accounts assistants
6. Assist with processing expense reports
7. Perform bank reconciliations
8. Post transactions to journals, ledgers, and other records
9. Reconcile accounts payable transactions and ensure payments are up to date
10. Maintain vendor files and liaise with vendors as needed, resolving queries
Requirements:
* Experience with finance systems (NetSuite preferred)
* Bookkeeping experience and knowledge of P&L vs. Balance Sheet transactions
* Understanding of revenue recognition accounting standards
* Discreet handling of confidential information
