Are you a passionate and motivated Band 5 Physiotherapist ready to take the next step in your career? Or perhaps you're an experienced Band 6 seeking a new challenge? If so, we’d love to hear from you!
We’re looking for a dynamic, HCPC-registered Physiotherapist to join our friendly, supportive team on a part-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a forward-thinking environment where you can make a real difference to patients' lives.
If you are enthusiastic about delivering high-quality, person-centred, evidence-based care, and have a solid background in frailty, rehabilitation, and elderly care, this could be the perfect role for you.
We’re happy to arrange an informal chat and site tour to help you decide if this is the right fit.
Your primary base will be ward-based at Torbay Hospital, with 6-monthly rotations including a contribution to our 7-day service. One rotation will be community-based within intermediate care, providing urgent care responses. Inpatient rotations may involve home visits or discharge assessments to facilitate smooth patient discharges. You will also rotate through A&E, community settings, and acute wards, broadening your experience across various clinical environments.
You will provide expert physiotherapy interventions for older patients in both hospital and community settings.
* You will lead and support junior physiotherapists, assistants, and students, working within multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic patient care.
* You will play a key role in discharge planning and rehabilitation strategies, contributing to an integrated 7-day service that improves patient outcomes.
* You will have opportunities to contribute to service development and engage in research.
