SEN Teaching Assistant – KS1(Fleetwood Primary School) Start Date: After February Half Term Contract: Full Time, Until July Location: Fleetwood Agency: Teaching Personnel Teaching Personnel are working closely with a welcoming and supportive Primary School in the Fleetwood area who are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their KS1 hub after the February half‑term. This is a full‑time role running Monday to Friday, and will continue through to the end of the academic year, with the possibility of continuation for the right person. About the Role The successful candidate will be supporting children in Key Stage 1 who have a range of additional needs, ensuring they can access learning in a safe, nurturing, and structured environment. You will be working alongside experienced staff and SEN professionals within a well‑resourced hub designed to meet the needs of pupils who require extra support. Your role will include: Providing 1:1 and small‑group support for pupils with SEND Supporting children with communication, social, emotional, or behavioural needs Helping to implement personalised learning plans Working collaboratively with the SENCo and teaching staff Creating a positive, encouraging learning environment for every child The Ideal Candidate Will: Have experience supporting children with SEN (school-based experience preferred) Be patient, resilient, and committed to helping children thrive Be able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff Show initiative and flexibility in a dynamic environment Hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update service Why Work with Teaching Personnel?
