About the Role
Are you an experienced Site Supervisor with a passion for delivering high-quality projects? We are looking for a proactive and reliable individual to assist with the on-site installation of buildings and provide day-to-day supervision for our Contracts Department. As a Site Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring that all site activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and in accordance with laid-down procedures. You will work closely with subcontractors, clients, and the Contracts Manager to oversee progress and maintain high standards on-site.
Responsibilities
* Assist with the installation of building sections and ensure defects are rectified as necessary.
* Supervise and provide guidance to subcontractors and trades on-site.
* Maintain the site and site accommodation in a clean, safe, and presentable condition.
* Conduct Health & Safety inductions and deliver toolbox talks as required.
* Produce weekly progress reports and attend monthly progress meetings if needed.
* Act as the site safety representative and competent person on-site.
* Liaise with clients, providing advice and ensuring strong relationships.
* Ensure all work adheres to Health & Safety regulations, risk assessments, and method statements.
* Monitor and control site costs, ensuring plant and equipment are managed efficiently.
* Report progress, issues, and variations to the Contracts Manager.
Qualifications
* SMSTS certification.
* FAW certification.
* CSCS Card – Green or Black.
* Full and clean driving licence.
* Must be prepared to work away from home as the region is vast.
Desired Qualifications
* NVQ Level 6.
* IPAF certification.
* Experience managing sub-contract trades.
* Knowledge of CDM Regulations.
* Computer literacy.
* Good administrative and man‑management skills.
* CSCS Black Card.
* Willingness to travel and stay away from time to time.
