You’ll be working with employers who are fully committed to making this journey a success, providing real opportunities for learners who may have struggled in mainstream education but are ready to thrive in a different environment.This charity’s approach blends job coaching with tailored classroom learning, creating a meaningful pathway for 16–24-year-olds with SEN support needs to build confidence, gain qualifications, and succeed in work.What to ExpectYou’ll receive excellent support from day one. For the first four months, you’ll shadow and support an experienced tutor on site. You’ll then start with your own cohort of learners in September.
* Location: 4 days a week on site in Sutton Coldfield, with 1 day working from home or at the head office in Birmingham for planning.
* Cohort: You’ll support a group of 6 learners.
* Role Split: A mix of job coaching and tutoring.
Job CoachingYou’ll support learners directly in their work placements by:
* Helping them understand and perform job tasks.
* Liaising with employers around reasonable adjustments.
* Developing key work-based skills like communication and time management.
