Reed Sales & Marketing are incredibly exciting to be representing a globally established Freight company in their search for a Yorkshire based Business Development Manager.

This is a pivotal role within a small, ambitious team and offers a fantastic opportunity to help shape the future of international and UK Export/Import services. Working closely with the team, you'll be responsible for bringing on new business and developing strong, long-lasting relationships with them.

Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and secure new business opportunities across Europe, with a focus on Air, Road and Sea freight, import/export, and time-critical logistics.
* Grow and develop accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business.
* Work directly with the leadership team to contribute to strategic planning and growth of the Global Division.
* Maintain and manage a pipeline of opportunities using CRM tools.
* Deliver regular updates, forecasts, and performance metrics.
* Travel across the North Of England including Scotland as needed to meet clients and build relationships.
What we’re looking for:
* Proven experience in Air / Sea, with solid knowledge of import/export procedures. (Preferable)
* A track record of success in B2B sales or business development roles.
* Ability to build rapport quickly and manage long-term client relationships.
* Self-motivated, results driven, and able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
