Recruit 121 is excited to be working exclusively with an award winning client who are looking to recruit a Business, Performance and Communications Officer for a six month contract with the potential to go permanent. This is a hybrid role, minimum of 2 days a week in the office, Tuesdays must be in Briton Ferry. Other day can be in any of their other offices in South Wales. The main purpose of the role is to support the delivery of business improvement, performance monitoring, and internal/external communications strategies. The role involves data analysis, project support, and stakeholder engagement to enhance service delivery and organisational transparency. Key Responsibilities: Business Performance: - Collect, analyse, and report on performance data - Support service areas in identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. - Maintain and improve business processes including the production of an annual Business Plan and End of Year review Project Support: - Assist in planning, coordinating, and delivering business improvement and digital transformation projects. - Support project documentation, stakeholder engagement, and progress tracking. Communications: - Draft and deliver internal and external communications, including newsletters, reports, and digital content. - Manage content for intranet and social media platforms. - Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all communications. Collaboration: - Work closely with service leads, IT, and communications teams. - Facilitate workshops, focus groups, and stakeholder meetings. Person Specification Essential Criteria: Qualifications: - Degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Communications, Public Policy, or related field. Experience: - Proven experience in performance reporting, business analysis, or communications. - Experience working in a public sector or customer-focused environment. - Familiarity with project management methodologies Skills: - Strong analytical and data interpretation skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power BI, and CRM systems. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Desirable Criteria: - Experience with digital transformation or service redesign. - Knowledge of local government structures and processes. - Understanding of GDPR and data governance.
