Continuous Improvement Practitioner / GPS

This is a site-based role at Worthing.
Continuous Improvement / GPS Practitioners will support the deployment of the 6 OneGPS standards (GSK Production System) effectively across the business functions selected based on business needs in agreement with the site GPS lead and aligned Value Stream Director (VSD). As GPS Practitioners, they will facilitate the embedding of the OneGPS continuous improvement (CI) standardised ways of working and driving the OneGPS mindset on continuous improvement to support the business strategy of Zero Accidents, Zero Defects and Zero Waste.

In this role you will:
* Working with your aligned VSD & Operations Manager/s (OM) to develop a robust continuous improvement system and a deployment plan for the area.
* Teach, mentor and coach others in the use of the continuous improvement standards and techniques for analysis of data and problem solving.
* Lead and resolve high complex problem solving based on business needs.
* Lead / Facilitate strategic, high impact and high priority improvement projects.
* Act as SME in continuous improvement and a change agent in introducing and embedding the 6 OneGPS continuous improvement standards.
* Proactively drive use of GSK production system to embed a CI culture.
Why you?
Qualifications & Skills:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
* A levels or GCSE’s Grades A – C (Maths & English as a minimum) or equivalent. Demonstrated track record in the Pharmaceutical / Manufacturing industry with continuous Improvement experience.
* Strong experience in a Pharmaceutical and / or Manufacturing environment.
* Knowledge of Performance Management and Problem Solving
* Experience in Change Management and ability to communicate at a shop floor to SVP level.
* Trained on the use of the Lean / Sigma tools.
* Lean Sigma Green Belt certified or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
* Working knowledge of Production (Manufacturing / Packaging), Warehouse and Laboratories.
* Strong data, digital, and analytical knowledge.
* Lean Sigma black belt certified.
* Experience in Value Stream Mapping, OEE, SMED, and Performance management
