What will be expected from me?
In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting the community. As a frontline team member, you'll be the friendly face our customers meet first, whether it'sover the phone, online, or in person.
It's more than just answering questions, it's about genuinely connecting with each person, understanding their needs, and offering the best solutions. You'll need good communication skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure and an ability forprioritisingdeadlines.
This role might involve handling tough situations, so a compassionate approach is essential.But don't worry, we'll support you every step of the way.
Within the Customer Service team we are the front facing team dealing with initial enquires for 50+ Council services as well as Social Care out of hours.
You will work on a flexible basis, working hours between 07:00-19:00 on a 6 week rota.

Essential requirements:
* Great Customer Service skills
* GCSEs in Maths and English or equivalent
* Experience of dealing with customer enquiries from a variety of access channels including on the telephone, face to face, correspondence and e-mail or social media
* Competent in using desktop software including Microsoft Word and Excel
