We are looking to recruit a hardworking, organised, methodical and proactive person to join our busy Central Business Function Team within the Support at Home Service as a Senior Reablement Coordinator. You will be part of a dedicated and friendly team, supporting with the delivery of an effective and efficient service across Cumberland.
Our Service
The Support at Home Service provides support for adults with wide ranging needs, such as supporting after a significant health change, which is a short term intervention; enabling them to live as independently as possible, ensuring their safety and well-being, and working with them to achieve person centred outcomes which will enable them to remain in their own homes within their local communities. This also includes adults who require long term support in their own homes.
The Role
The Central Business Function is a key part of the operational delivery of the Support at Home Service as it is the central point of access for the service.The role of Senior Reablement Coordinator is to ensure we provide excellent customer service to a wide range of stakeholders including all our customers; support staff, service users and their families. You will be required to ensure the organisation of the service overseeing, evaluating, and auditing work undertaken by Reablement Coordinators, including supervising, training, and appraising staff. You will support Coordinators on a day-to-day basis with daily and weekly tasks, ensuring we have cover for our core hours 7am – 11pm 365 days a year.
You will provide support to the wider teams, building relationships and working together to achieve the best outcomes for the people of Cumberland.

Who we are looking for:
The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational/prioritisation skills and be adept to working under pressure. If you enjoy problem solving and working flexibly as part of a team to support people remain independent in communities, this could be the job for you!
ICT skills are essential as is maintaining confidentiality at all times.
5 GCSEs at C grade or above, including English and Maths, or an equivalent level qualification, i.e. NVQ Level 3 is essential. Use of IT applications and experience working in an administrative role is essential, as well as knowledge of Health and Social Care.
This job involves working shifts which cover 8am until 6pm over 7 days, 365 days a year.
This vacancy specifically, is on a 5 week working pattern.
* Week 1 Wednesday 9-17:30, Thursday and Friday 9-16:30 (22 hours)
* Week 2 Thursday 9-17:00, Friday 9-17:30 (15.5 hours)
* Week 3 Wednesday Thursday and Friday 9-16:30 (21 hours)
* Week 4 Thursday 9 - 16:30, Friday 9-17:00, Saturday and Sunday 9-17:30 (30.5 hours)
* Week 5 Wednesday and Thursday 9-17:30 (16 hours)
