Currently, we are recruiting on behalf of our client for a dedicated Yards Person / HGV Driver to join their busy team in Feltham, Greater London. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a reputable automotive repair operation where safety, organisation, and efficiency are key.

Discount schemes on high street shopping and vehicle maintenanceAs a Yards Person / HGV Driver, your key responsibilities will include:
Safely moving and positioning vehicles within the yard and workshop, including HGVs and commercial vehicles.
Ensuring vehicles are parked correctly and aligned with operational requirements
Conducting basic vehicle checks for damage, cleanliness, and roadworthiness
Reporting any vehicle issues to the workshop manager promptly
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe yard environment
Adhering strictly to all health and safety procedures, including safe vehicle movement and pedestrian safety
Assisting with general site housekeeping duties when required
Maintaining effective communication with workshop teams, managers, and customer service staff to coordinate vehicle movementsRequirements for the Yards Person / HGV Driver position will have:
A full UK driving licence, with a Category C (Class 2) licence being highly desirable
Sound understanding of health and safety regulations and procedures
Ability to manoeuvre vehicles safely within busy or confined areas
Good communication skills, able to work effectively within a team
Reliable, punctual, and highly organised
Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and use initiative
