The Role
As the School Officer, you will be the first point of contact at Gwynne Park ESC and play a key role in ensuring the smooth and professional operation of our front office. We are ideally seeking highly efficient and self-motivated individuals who can work independently while maintaining a warm, welcoming, and professional manner. Suitable applicants should have strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision. A proactive and collaborative approach to supporting school operations is important.
In this role, you will undertake a variety of administrative and financial duties. These include greeting visitors, responding to enquiries, supporting student enrolments, and maintaining accurate records, particularly those related to student health and well-being. You will also assist with financial processes such as EFT payment batches, invoicing, cash handling, and reconciliations. Proficiency in using a range of software applications is important, especially databases including Integris, Compass, Passtab, spreadsheets,Website, Facebook and word processing tools. You will assist with creating the online communications, coordinating therapist bookings, school enrolments, maintaining the Working with Children database and reporting & facility maintenance and repairs.
You will be working closely with the Manager Corporate Services and other staff to support daily operations and contribute to effective communication within the school community. Upholding high standards of customer service, maintaining confidentiality, following procedures, and adapting in a fast-paced environment will be important to your success in this role.
