Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of a construction site in the Penrith area. If you are a vigilant individual with a passion for ensuring the well-being of others, we would like to hear from you.
Duties:
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to detect and deter any suspicious activity
- Respond promptly to alarms and security incidents
- Provide assistance to visitors and staff when needed
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage
- Maintain accurate records of security-related activities
- Monitor the premises from on site CCTV
Skills:
- Proficient in surveillance techniques
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues and visitors
- First aid certification is desirable
The right candidate must hold a valid in date SIA licence in either door supervisor or security guarding and pass 5 year vetting & screening including right to work checks.
This role requires the correct candidate to hold a valid UK drivers license as the site is in a remote area and a company vehicle will be used on the premises.
Start date approx. 20/09/2025
Contract length initial 12 months with a 3 month probationary period.
