Job Summary

Salary: £29,304.11 - £33,651.45 (Depending on experience)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Location: 33 Grosvenor Place, London

Contract: Full time, permanent position

What are we looking for?

Cleveland Clinic London are looking to recruit a Healthcare Assistant to join our Neuro Rehab team with a competitive salary range on offer, up to £33,651.45 depending upon experience.

This is a full time, permanent position would require the post holder to work up to 37.5 hours per week.

This is a Monday-Sunday, Days/Nights/Weekends role with the following shift patterns:

Monday to Sunday Long Days– 0730-2000

Monday to Sunday Nights – 1930-0800

Bank Holidays – 0730-2000 & 1930-0800

Our 40-bed acute/neurorehabilitation unit has two dedicated therapy gyms and is designed for the best possible patient experience. Our team uses the latest specialist rehabilitation techniques, including cutting-edge robotic equipment and advanced exoskeletons, to help support our patients’ recovery. Within the floor our specialists deliver neurological and limb rehabilitation with advanced robotic devices that look at gross movement and fine dexterity movement. We can offer a higher intensity of therapy to work towards improved outcomes for patients. There is also a Bariatric Bed Room and an Isolation Bed Room to offer specialist facilities to enhance comfort and clinical care, and controlled air flow respectively.

What will your duties include?

1. Responsible for providing basic nursing care to patients under the directions and supervision of trained nursing caregiver

2. Developing competence in carrying out basic observations and recording results

3. Be aware of Universal Precautions, basic Infection Control Procedures and Sharps Safety Procedures.

4. Participating effectively at the Quality improvements initiatives for the ward ensures that the Ward KPI’s are achieved and are aligned with CCL quality standard

5. Ensuring a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors following the guidelines of risk management. Proactively reporting incidents, risks and/or failings taking responsibility to minimise these

What we need from you?

6. Experience working in a neurological or spinal rehabilitation setting

7. NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or a Care Certificate

8. Demonstrable clinical experience in or similar setting

9. Track record of achievement of objectives in present and past jobs in the clinical field.

10. Good communication and organisational skills
