Salary: £42,000 – £50,000 (pro-rata for part-time)

The London College of Contemporary Arts (LCCA) invites applications for the position of Foundation Business Lecturer. LCCA specialises in Business Management, Creative Business, and Leadership & Management programmes, with a strong commitment to experiential learning, industry engagement, and student success.

Role Overview
The post holder will contribute to the delivery of foundation-level Business teaching, supporting student learning and progression within a flexible 7-day teaching model. It is preferred that candidates are available for weekend teaching on campus (Saturdays and Sundays).
You will be expected to:
* Deliver effective and inspiring teaching in Business, combining academic rigour with practical application.
* Contribute to curriculum development, assessment, and programme innovation.
* Engage in research, scholarship, or professional practice to enhance the academic environment.
* Maintain strong links with industry to support student employability.
* Provide academic and pastoral support to students, monitoring progress and achievement.
Person Specification
Essential:
* A relevant degree (postgraduate qualification preferred).
* Experience of teaching and assessment within Higher Education.
* Ability to design and deliver inclusive, engaging, and effective learning experiences.
* Strong understanding of equality, diversity, and inclusivity in teaching.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with staff and students.
Desirable:
* PhD or higher-level research qualification.
* Teaching qualification (PG Cert or equivalent).
* Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy.
* Evidence of research, knowledge exchange, or professional practice relevant to the discipline.
