Teaching Assistant (SEN) Grade 4 £25,583 - £26,824 pro rata Part Time - 32.5 hours per week, Term time only 2 weeks Permanent Required from 3rd November 2025 or as soon as possible after this date The Governors are seeking to appoint 10 highly motivated, committed and experienced Teaching Assistants who will play a key role in providing support for pupils with special educational needs. The successful candidate will support the Class Teacher in the teaching and welfare of pupils. Interviews will be held across the 6th and 7th October 2025 Calculation of term time only plus two weeks’ pay Term time only plus two additional weeks’ pay is calculated on the basis of the following: • Number of ‘teaching’ weeks – 38 weeks; plus • Public (bank) holidays – 1.6 weeks (8 days); plus • Two additional weeks, inclusive of CPD – 2 weeks; plus • Individual leave entitlement - 5.4 weeks (27 days) or 6.4 weeks (32 days) Individual leave entitlement is calculated on the length of continuous service. Employees with less than 5 years’ service will receive 27 days annual leave. Employees with more than 5 years’ service will receive 32 days annual leave.
