Mobile Vehicle Technician (Field Service Engineer/Mechanic/Forklifts) – Whitney
Monday to Friday; 40 or 45 hour contracts available. Starting salary £31,000 to £39,000 depending on contract chosen.

Part of a team, you will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown coverage on a range of forklifts and related equipment in Whitney. No long stays away or extensive travel required; overtime is available if desired, mostly during the week.
Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and breakdown work on materials handling machinery on a field service basis
* Reactive breakdown coverage within the allocated geographical area
* Complete comprehensive training to become fully competent on all machinery and equipment
* Spares placed in van overnight
Requirements
* Experience with plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment; automotive technicians/motor trade will also be suitable
* Engine diagnostics and basic electrical skills
* Ideally hold a level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject
