Business Operations and Master Data Specialist, Europe
Responsibilities
* Master Data and Business Operations
Performs internal Master Data (Bill of Materials, Standard time allocation, etc.) audits to improve data quality; Audit master data for quality, completeness, and compliance; Monitor adherence to data standards and governance rules; Identify inconsistencies and drive corrective actions; Support harmonization and standardization of global data; Work closely with the subregional master data teams to transfer business needs to the master data team; Act as a support function for the implementation of required changes within the operational units or support functions; Identify gaps between the operational activities and the system data; Liaise with the commercial and operations to align customer requirements, operational processes and system data.
* Material Management
Work with the operating units to further develop operations management in terms of consistent material management systems (MIB) across the Business units; Lead the MMAT (Material Management) audits in the unit; Assure a consistent reporting of the KPI’s and establish a process to conduct ongoing data and root cause analysis to identify and prioritize opportunity areas for continual improvement; Align closer with procurement KPIs and optimizes order and purchasing processes; Assures cross regional best practice processes on warehouse and inventories.
* Performance Monitoring & Optimization
Regularly review and optimize existing reports and dashboards to improve performance and usability.
Qualifications and Experience
Education
* Educated to degree level preferably on master data management, supply chain management, business administration, engineering or equivalent.
* Very good knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint). Power BI is a plus.
* Understanding of business controlling mechanisms
Work Experience
* Extensive work experience related to operations, Material management, planning, operational controlling activities. Airline Catering business is a plus.
* ERP or equivalent system implementation experience would be a plus.
* Previous experience as business analyst is preferred.
* Multi-year experience in labor heavy environments such as manufacturing, food service, supply chain management, staffing agency, airline and/or airline catering experience preferred.

* Highly numerate with strong analytical skills
* Ability to work under pressure and to tight timescales, prioritising as appropriate
* Self-motivated, proactive and flexible attitude
* Computer literate with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
* Effective verbal and written communication skills in English, German is a plus
* Ability to flex communication style to cater to different level of audience
