Artemis Human Capital are working with a high-growth, private equity-backed organisation to appoint a Group Financial Controller into a key leadership role.
Reporting to the Group Finance Director, this is a pivotal position responsible for leading the finance function, ensuring robust reporting and controls, and supporting the business through its next phase of growth.
This role offers a blend of operational oversight and strategic input, making it ideal for a commercially focused finance leader who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead group reporting, including monthly management accounts and consolidations
* Oversee cashflow management, forecasting, and balance sheet integrity
* Ensure strong financial controls, governance, and compliance
* Manage and develop the finance team across core functions
* Drive improvements in reporting, processes, and month-end timelines
* Support systems, automation, and integration of new business units
The Person
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
* Proven experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance leadership role
* Background in a private equity-backed or high-growth environment
* Strong technical knowledge across reporting, controls, and compliance
* Experience leading and developing high-performing teams
* Commercially focused with the ability to operate at pace
