This role offers the chance to lead a high-performing Accounts Payable function, supporting a busy finance operation while driving process improvements, maintaining strong financial controls and delivering excellent internal customer service.
The Role:
As Accounts Payable Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day performance of the Accounts Payable team, ensuring efficient processing of transactions and supporting the delivery of finance objectives.
You'll play a key role in leading the team through growth, identifying opportunities for process improvement and standardisation, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous development.
Criteria:
13. Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline, or 3+ years' relevant experience
14. Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop a team
15. Experience working within a fast-paced, high-volume finance environment
16. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
17. Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications
18. Experience using ERP systems (SAP experience advantageous)
19. Currently studying towards, or interested in pursuing, a professional qualification such as CIMA or ATI
