Where will you be working?
This Kitchen Sales Designer opportunity is based at our Southampton, Park Gate branch on Duncan Road, in Southampton, SO31 1BX. Based within our busy Travis Perkins branch, this Benchmarx branch has a team of 2 colleagues providing exceptional advice and service to our customers. Also within this busy TP branch they operate 4 vehicles, there is a full tool hire time team too and obviously our Benchmarx kitchen team! Customer footfall is strong, the workplace is a busy one!
Your working hours will be Monday - Friday 7.30am - 5.00pm and Saturday’s 8am-12 midday (working 2 in 4 Saturdays).

1. Starting salary from £26.5k, depending on experience. Plus uncapped commission, in your first year you could be earning an OTE of £32-35k

What will you be doing?
Our most successful Kitchen Sales Designers come from a variety of different sectors and backgrounds, but they all have one thing in common, they deliver an exceptional ‘Customer Experience’. Our customers are traders and homeowners, so with your new learned knowledge of our products and newly trained design skills - here’s a snapshot of branch life at Benchmarx:
5. Working with homeowners and trades professionals, you will produce accurate designs and quotes in a professional and timely manner to really understand their project and create their dream kitchen
6. Building a strong network of customers around you to ensure you meet sales targets, you will also work closely with the external and internal stakeholders regarding customer requirements
7. Not all customers come into the branch, so you will regularly visit our customers’ homes or building sites, where you will draw up inspirational designs on CAD and present them to the customers
8. Safety is at the forefront of everything we do, so your aim will be to ensure that our colleagues and customers leave the Showroom safely, by adhering to all stay safe policies and procedures
