About Our Client
This is a hands-on Credit Control position with responsibility for managing customer accounts and supporting cash flow across the business. You'll be working closely with colleagues across finance and operations, so communication and relationship-building are key.
Job Description
The key responsibilities of the Credit Controller include:
3. Manage and monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payments.
4. Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies effectively.
5. Communicate with customers to address overdue payments and negotiate payment plans.
6. Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
7. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing issues.
8. Conduct credit checks and assess the creditworthiness of new customers.
9. Assist in the implementation of credit control policies and procedures.
10. Provide support to the Accounting & Finance team as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Credit Controller should have:
11. Previous experience in credit control or a similar role within Accounting & Finance.
12. Strong numerical and analytical skills.
13. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
14. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
15. A keen eye for detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
16. Knowledge of credit control policies and best practices.
