Active, Innovative Long-Term Care Community Seeks Dependable, Dynamic, Unit Secretary (full‑time)
The Unit Secretary is responsible for performing the specific duties that will assist with management of medical records, referrals, staff schedules, resident requests, communication with other departments and other administrative services critical to the operation of the nursing units. Responsibilities include maintaining adequate supplies required by unit staff, receptionist duties, scheduling appointments for residents, faxing, copying, and filing. The shift time 2:30p - 10:30p, Monday - Friday.
Must possess good customer service skills and basic computer/data entry skills.
Experience in a healthcare setting is required. Some medical terminology preferred.
