You will be based in the Department of Society and Politics, in the School of Law and Social Sciences, at Aston University, one of the country's leading universities for science, technology and enterprise. This is an exceptional opportunity for a well-qualified and talented individual to play a leading role in a large interdisciplinary and cross-institution project. AI.RDN is unique in its aim to be at the forefront of exploring the widespread adoption of publicly available artificial intelligence tools in doctoral research through extensive consultation with key stakeholders. It will use the resources gathered in consultation to promote the innovative and responsible use of publicly AI tools through the creation of training, support and guidance for postgraduate research students, supervisors, examiners and doctoral colleges and schools. As part of a friendly, supportive and collegial work culture, you will oversee all aspects of project development from planning and communication through to collaboration and the timely delivery of outcomes. You will also ensure the creation and support of effective collaboration and networking building, and the dissemination and high visibility of project activities. You will ideally have experience of project management and will be able to demonstrate managing complex workstreams, tracking outcomes across key performance indicators and ensuring budget compliance. You will also possess a strong background and/or knowledge of higher education, and the proven ability to coordinate a large group of project participants and stakeholders. You will be a strategic thinker with an track record of excellent leadership, organizational and communication skills. Knowledge of the postgraduate research and/or publicly available artificial intelligence tools would be an advantage.
