Sopra Steria is leading the way in developing a brand-new, greenfield Managed Service - a truly unique solution that will replace a complex legacy Enterprise infrastructure.
This is a rare opportunity to work on a fully modernized, high-automation environment from the ground up, defining best practices and shaping the future of scalable End-User Computing (EUC) solutions.
You will be working with industry leading technologies, leveraging Windows, VMware, Ansible, Terraform, and advanced scripting to build a next-generation platform that prioritizes efficiency, security, and innovation.
What you will be doing:
* Develop and maintain end-user computing standards, guidelines, and best practices.
* Manage and maintain NetIQ User Provisioning.
* Design and implement VMware Horizon-based solutions, including VDI and application virtualisation, to meet business requirements.
* Implement security best practices and ensure compliance in end-user computing environments.
* Create and maintain technical documentation, such as architecture diagrams, configuration guides, and standard operating procedures.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including infrastructure, networking, security, and application teams, to ensure seamless integration of end user computing solutions.
What you will bring:
* Expertise in VMware Horizon & Unified Access Gateway (UAG).
* Proficiency in Dynamic Environment Manager (DEM) & App Volumes.
* Deep understanding of Windows 11, including CIS L2 policies & base/gold image deployments.
It would be great if you had:
* Experience with NetIQ Identity & Access Management.
* Strong PowerShell & automation skills.
* Knowledge of Security Best Practices / Secure by Design principles.
* VMware-related certifications.

Salary: £70,000-80,000 per annum
Benefits: £5,400 car allowance, 25 days annual leave with the option to buy additional days, private medical, life assurance, pension, and generous flexible benefits fund
