Main duties of the job
To remain up to date in treatment management, through research andevidence based practice, and to be responsible and accountable for deliveringeffective safe
To co-ordinate the care throughout the patients pathway whilst underthe care of the MDT; through from diagnosis to treatment and follow-up.
To provide appropriate written information for patients, relatives andhospital staff covering relevant condition and its treatment.

Our communitydermatology service manages a wide-range of dermatological conditions thatwould otherwise be referred to secondary care. Our team of consultants, GPwERsand specialist nurses are able to provide patients with rapid access tospecialist opinion from a choice of clinic location including Carlisle,Cockermouth, Maryport and Keswick.
We strive to deliverexceptional standards of care within the community setting where patients areseen within 12 weeks from referral and referring GPs can access timely adviceand guidance, we also offer teaching and shadowing to GPs and others with aninterest in dermatology.

* Post-registration qualification in relevant specialist nursing or equivalent experience
* Competent in the physical examination of patients including assessment, history taking, venepuncture and cannulation
* Experience of managing own clinic
* Mentorship course or teaching qualification
* Formal qualification in non-medical prescribing or willing to work towards
