About The Role
In your role as a Housekeeping Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every person working here understands that our residents are people just like them with their own stories to tell. By joining HC One, you’ll have a wonderful opportunity to give back to those people.
As a Housekeeping Assistant, your responsibilities will include maintaining a clean, hygienic, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment. Your attention to detail will be evident in the environment you help create. Whether managing the cleaning rota or actively participating in cleaning tasks, you will do so with kindness and professionalism.
We are looking for a Housekeeping Assistant with some experience, although we will provide comprehensive training. Excellent time management and organizational skills are essential. A positive attitude, energy, and the ability to get along well with others are key. You should be a good communicator, skilled in listening and giving clear instructions, always considerate and kind in your interactions.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. It is important that you can recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate actions to take. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and to undertake additional training as needed. You should be proactive in seeking advice and reporting concerns, including escalating issues when necessary.
We will provide full training, offering a great opportunity to learn new skills. In return, you will have access to a wide range of benefits and support to promote your physical and psychological well-being. Throughout your career as a Housekeeping Assistant, we will invest in you, providing additional support and benefits such as:
