The role:
1. Servicing, maintaining and overhauling forklift trucks and material handling equipment
2. Diagnosing electrical, electronic and mechanical faults
3. Preparing equipment for sale, hire and return to service
4. Carrying out inspections and compliance checks
5. Completing service reports and workshop documentation
6. Maintaining high health & safety standards
The successful candidate:
7. NVQ Level 3 in Lift Truck Repair, Plant Maintenance or equivalent
8. Strong mechanical and electrical engineering experience
9. Experience working on forklift trucks or material handling equipment
10. Excellent fault-finding skills
11. Strong organisational skills
12. Ability to work effectively within a team environment
