Job Title: Accounts Administrator Company Overview: Freeburn Transport Ltd is a leading logistics company operating out of Northern Ireland and serving clients across Ireland and the UK. With a commitment to excellence, we specialize in providing reliable and efficient transportation solutions. As part of our dedicated finance team, the Accounts Administrator will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of day-to-day operations. Position Overview: The Accounts Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting the POD & Invoicing process. This position requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments. Key Responsibilities: Collect, verify, and process proof of delivery documents from drivers and couriers. Ensure all PODs are accurately scanned, uploaded, and stored in the system. Liaise with drivers and other departments to resolve POD discrepancies. Maintain up-to-date records of deliveries and ensure compliance with company policies. Respond to internal and external POD-related queries in a timely and professional manner. Generate and process invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Coordinate with internal departments to obtain necessary information for invoicing, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely billing. Liaise with third parties regarding invoice inquiries, discrepancies, and payment processing. Assist with general administrative duties within the logistics or operations department. Qualifications: Previous experience in a Transport company desirable, but not essential as full training is provided. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively. Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Benefits: Competitive Salary. Death in Service. Pension.
