The post is for 37.5 hours Term time only. The team provides holistic nursing care for pupils with a wide range of learning disabilities, physical disabilities and neurological conditions. The successful applicant will work within the Tamworth hub covering a Nursery, Primary and High school. Working as a member of a friendly, highly skilled t e am you will have the opportunity to make a difference to the lives of children and young people who have special needs and their families. You will be responsible for their healthcare needs during the school day and work in partnership with education colleagues in the school and with parents. You will also work collaboratively with the wider Multi Agency Teams to meet health, developmental and safeguarding needs of the children and young people. The post holder will be expected to work flexibly and will need to be able to transport themselves and any equipment to the different locations within the hub. There will a requirement for travel to other areas/hubs to support with cover and attendance at team meetings and training. Access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential. Main duties of the job The post holder will work as part of a team to participate in the delivery of health care and promote the health and welfare of children attending Staffordshire Special Schools and to acknowledge and respect the individual rights and personal dignity of the students.
