We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Electrical Supervisor to join a long-term contract delivering maintenance andpliance services across multipleernment sites.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled electrical professional with strong supervisory experience to work on a mobile basis, supporting critical infrastructure and ensuring high standards of delivery.
Key Job Details
1. Job Title: Senior Electrical Supervisor
2. Rate: £400 – £450 per day (Umbrella)
3. Contract Length: 6 months initial (ongoing potential)
4. Start Date: Immediate
5. Location: Mobile (MOJ & Home Office sites) - Cambridge or Kent
6. Working Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Senior Electrical Supervisor Responsibilities
7. Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical works
8. Carry out fault-finding, diagnostics and repairs on electrical systems and plant
9. Supervise and support electrical teams across multiple sites
10. Install andmission electrical plant and equipment
11. Ensure all works meet industry standards andpliance requirements
12. Maintain asset records and provide condition updates
13. Liaise with engineering teams to ensure efficient service delivery
14. Identify additional works and prepare cost estimates
15. Perform quality audits (QS duties) on both in-house and subcontractor works
16. Ensure all electrical installationsply with current regulations
Key RequirementsTo be considered for this Senior Electrical Supervisor role, you must have:
17. ECS Gold Card (Essential)
18. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
19. NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
20. AM1 & AM2 qualifications
21. 2391 Test & Inspection certification
22. 5–10+ years’ electrical experience
Desirable Qualifications
23. NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor (QS) experience
24. Authorised Person (Low Voltage)
