We are looking to recruit a Qualified Social Worker for a position in the Assessment Team within Hertfordshire Council.
Responsibilities
* The role will be to support families arriving from the Ukraine and undertake safeguarding home visits and assessments.
* Undertaking initial safeguarding visits to families being hosted in Herts.
* Undertaking Child & Family Assessments for children from the Ukraine where needed.
* Offering advice and guidance; linking with multi‑agency colleagues.
* Completing safeguarding visits.
* Experience preferred.
Post qualifying experience of working within a statutory Children team within the UK Social Care industry.

* Well‑structured, organised team, growing their social worker staffing levels.
* This is a role within the Social Care industry.
Minimum Requirements
* SWE Registration.
* 1 year post‑qualifying experience within the UK.
* Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you).
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
