The Role
As Bar & Restaurant supervisor, you'll be at the heart of our hospitality operations, ensuring seamless service, staff development, and a vibrant atmosphere that reflects the spirit of Scotland. Reporting to the Food & Beverage supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day running of both the restaurant and bar, curating exceptional guest experiences while maintaining operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Operational Leadership – Manage the bar and restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service across all dining periods.
* Guest Experience – Foster a welcoming atmosphere with high-end yet approachable Scottish cuisine, ensuring consistent quality and customer satisfaction.
* Team Management – Lead, train, and develop front-of-house staff, creating a culture of excellence and career growth.
* Stock & Cost Control – Oversee inventory management, supplier relations, and cost control strategies to maximize profitability.
* Compliance & Standards – Ensure all health, safety, and licensing regulations are met, maintaining a clean and compliant environment.
* Innovative Offerings – Work alongside the Food & Beverage Manager to introduce seasonal menus, curated drink selections, and enhance the overall dining experience.
* Revenue & Growth – Monitor sales performance, contribute to marketing and promotions, and drive engagement through local partnerships and events.
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in restaurant and bar, ideally within hospitality or fine dining settings.
* A passion for Scottish cuisine and hospitality, with a deep appreciation for guest engagement and service excellence.
* Strong leadership and mentorship skills, fostering a supportive and driven team culture.
* Knowledge of stock management, licensing laws, and financial controls.
* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
