Event Sales Manager – Forum Events Ltd

Forum Events Ltd has been building powerful business connections for nearly 30 years. Based in Hertford, we specialise in high‑impact, face‑to‑face Forums and Summits that bring together procurement professionals and industry suppliers.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the sales and delivery of two major B2B events per year, including their associated media and newsletter platforms. You will manage your own portfolio, build strong commercial relationships, and play a key role in event success from start to finish.

Ideal for a driven sales professional who wants ownership, autonomy and uncapped earning potential.

Key Responsibilities

* Achieve and exceed assigned revenue targets through effective pipeline management
* Conduct consultative sales calls to understand client needs and position event & media solutions
* Build long‑term relationships with new and existing clients
* Use all sales and CRM processes efficiently and in line with company protocols
* Deliver event experience inline with client expectation to secure a key rebook %
* Lead all pre‑event sales activities and planning
* Attend responsible events and support others across the portfolio
* Report on event trends and growth opportunities
* Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities

What We’re Looking For

* Minimum 2 years of sales experience (B2B event/media sales/subscription experience required)
* Proven ability to exceed sales targets
* Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
* Skilled in negotiation and closing high‑value deals
* Able to manage accounts and develop new business
* Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment
* Positive team player with a self‑motivated mindset

* Salary up to £30K, OTE £45K+ % of over‑performance revenue
