Salary: Starting from £42,215, based on your skills and experience.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Lead the Charge: Take responsibility for various activities within the Supply Chain Lifecycle, including sourcing, negotiating, placing, and managing contracts.
* Data-Driven Decisions: Develop and maintain effective reporting of information and data, focusing on Cost Management, Supplier Performance, and Schedule Performance of deliverables and hardware.
* Contract Management: Create and manage contractual documentation using digital purchasing systems (SAP).
* Collaborative Problem Solver: Work closely with suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
* Accountability: Oversee all related Supply Chain activities within your area of responsibility, supporting line management and the wider team as needed.
* Support the Vision: Contribute to the delivery of the SSNA Electrical Equipment Procurement Plan.
Your Skills and Experiences:
* Experience Matters: Proven background in Supply Chain or Procurement.
* Exceptional Communicator: Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience in delivering presentations to diverse audiences.
* Tech-Savvy: Solid IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications and SAP.
* Agile Environment: Experience in placing and managing contracts in a fast-paced setting.
* Willingness to Travel: Flexibility to travel when required.

About the Supply Chain Electrical IDT Team:
As a Procurement Professional, you will play a crucial role in delivering materials and services that meet our Supply Chain requirements. Your contributions will ensure that everything is provided on budget, on schedule, and in full compliance with technical and quality standards across multiple suppliers. We also offer relocation support packages for eligible candidates in all Submarines roles.
